My dog learned to use it easily with treats offered for going up and down the ramp. Better than another ramp I returned because he didn't like the rough surface. This one has a plastic surface that is more appealing for himI use this ramp for my electric fold up 20 inch bike. it helps me load the bike into my SUV. The title should be changed for other use besides animals. It should be multi purpose use.I purchased this ramp used and I don’t think anyone did a product check as the ramp was broken at the hinges with no chance to repair it. Thank goodness my dog is small, the porch is low, and I need two for separate locations, so half a ramp works out. despite this, I’m disappointment with the quality checking of a re-used products. I don’t think anyone else who would’ve purchased this broken ramp would’ve kept it.Bought this as a lake ramp for the dog. Just added some hardware to secure it to the sea wall and it worked greatneed lots of room to make this work.... was ok for getting into back of suv.. but was hoping to use for loading in back door. no easy way for that and ended up sending backSlippery! The first time my dog tried to use it she slid down it she’s an old dog and has that has hip problems, I put a rug over it and it works but it was hard to get her to try it again. It is not non-slip! My dog weighs about 30#.Not really for large dogs. It’s too high of an angle for trucks and stairsI got this so my dog could get on and off the bed. It works great! The ramp trifolds fo easy storage or to take it on the go. I put the top section of the ramp in between the mattress and box spring and it is stable and it doesn't stick out to far from the bed so it's not in the way. From the floor to the top of my bed is about 2' 7" if anyone needs to know to compare to their own bed. From the edge of the bed to the end of the ramp is about 3'. Some people say that they needed to put carpet or grip tape on their ramp but even when it gets wet she has no problems with slipping going up and down with the traction bars that are on it. At first I was a little irritated at the price but now I feel like it was well worth the price. Thanks!Even though the ramp appears to be quite well made, My 12 year old 45Kg ( 100lb ) ailing German Shepherd female dog would not accept using the ramp. We made multiple attempts over several days. We tried to coax her to trust using the ramp ( both ascending and descending ) but for whatever her reasoning, she refused to use it. We asked to return the ramp through Amazon and were immediately, conveniently and respectfully credited the full amount.Exactly as described. The ramp is sturdy, well made and supports our 125 LB Akita perfectly. The ramp fits up to the rear hatch of our Santa Fe SUV at a decent angle and folds up to fit well in the rear seat floor area. The ramp has linear ridges to help with traction but we added strips of grit-tape to enhance traction for his paws. Otherwise the plastic seems a little slippery for his paws when wet. Overall we’re 100% satisfied and the ramp even arrived a day ahead of schedule. The pet ramp is a wonderful idea, our very active 12 year standard Poodle started to have issues with his legs making it extremely difficult, near impossible for him to climb, particularly to go for his car rides. The ramp is fantastic, very easy to set up and take down, it is compact enough to fit into our SUV.First you will likely need to add carpet to the ramp. As others have said it is quite slippery for a dog. We attached this carpet well with zip ties. Second, there isn't a good place to pick up the ramp without risking pinching your fingers. Especially given the weight.I was holding it by the rubber strap but as you can see it broke off. One of the plastic pieces also broke off while trying to set it up.It gets the job done but isn't the best idea. Could use some carpet and handles. When I unpacked this from the box it isn’t securely folded and as I pulled it from the box, the ramp fell open and caught my hand and ripped off my entire finger nail. This ramp is heavy and doesn’t latch closed so it’s always scary as to whether it will catch your hand in it. It also is extremely slippery and my poor elderly dog slipped trying to use it. We returned it considering I lost a fingernail and my dog was going to get injured using it. Why purchase something you have to fix in order to make it safe?!
