I'm very pleased with this purchase on all counts: materials, construction, attractiveness. It's very high-end with an (unfortunately) rather high-end price tag, however the cover is removable, washable, and the interior "pillow" replaceable should the fiber fill compress with time and usage. The best thing about it is that my six-month old Keeshond puppy adores it and took to it immediately. This is a dog so high energy and rambunctious that prior to acquiring the Majestic bed the only way to calm her or keep her from bouncing off the walls was to crate her or contain her in a bathroom behind a pet gate. Within minutes of being introduced to this bed she was lying comfortably enjoying a chew stick of her own volition, ignoring passing cats, and I was able to enjoy her company without having to look at her through bars or wire grating. It was like magic. I purchased a second identical bed the next day. I bought the large even though her adult size will probably be right at 30 pounds. That will give her plenty of room in the future even if a cat or two decides to join her. They love it too.
