It seems to be well-made, but I have not yet washed it and don't have a good sense of durability. The crate pad (for the bottom of the crate) is thin, so I have added a thicker, memory foam cushion on top of it. The most important thing is that my little dog discovered his new crate and made himself at home in it without any need for treats or coaxing, I leave the door open so he can go in and out at will. He's asleep there as I write this.I love this product. Our dog always sleeps in her kennel. Woke us up one night screaming. Her back foot had gotten caught in one of the grates of her kennel. Next morning I ordered the bumper set and no more worries. Wish I had gotten one sooner!!This item was just as I was hoping it would be. I was somewhat skeptical after reading some of the other reviews.It is made of good quality, durable-looking material. The pad was thicker than I expected, and makes for a comfortable resting place. The wall pads did require some thoughtful placement, but the Velcro was sufficient to secure it, and it has stayed in place just fine. All in all, it took me less than 10 minutes to completely assemble (including crate set-up).I have a very sweet-tempered dog, so destruction of this product is not an issue. We don't usually crate our dog, because she is so mild mannered, and does well on her own.I bought this because I we are going on vacation in a few months, and the house we are renting requires your dog to be crated while you are away. I wanted a place that would help to easy anxiety in a strange place. I wanted to create a comfortable "den" to leave our dog in while we were gone from the house.I would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to "dress up" the look of their crate or wants to make the crate more comfortable for their dog.I would not recommend if your dog is prone to chewing things up while you're away. I'm not sure it's made to withstand that kind of abuse.Overall, very pleased with quality and value.This crate set is amazing. At first I thought it wouldn’t compare to the more expensive jax and bones edition but it’s been a hit with our pup. I’m not sure why everyone is having a hard time keeping the bumpers up. They were super easy to install and droop or slip! The tip is to attach with the Velcro at the top (see pics).I'd like to give this item 4.5 stars but the system won't allow me. The bed is cushy enough - nothing over the top, but also padded well and not cheap. Held up perfectly well through a cold wash and low-setting dryer - per instructions. Doggo loves it.The cover is a nicely designed and the tie straps at the front, were a good design move. We love the color too. This also comes with a free crate-training guide, which we didn't need, ourselves, but would be useful as a new training guide.Ultimately we just needed the bumper pad because our dog chases his tail compulsively, when left alone. This has so far done it's job well, to protect him from the bars. My one negative would be that only the top side of the bumper, has velcro to hold it onto the crate bars. The bottom side of the bumper pad, hangs into the crate and you have to struggle to force open the bars to tuck it. In our case we have to hope it stays up, while he's bumping it repeatedly. Overall, I highly recommend this. Our dog loves the sense of being in a cushy, protected little den. We would buy this again.I love that it conceals the metal of the crates in such a nice way. Would have liked different color options, like colors people might use in home decor so they could match the room. It gets 4 starts instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) the inner bumpers are kind of a pain to install and don't stay attached very well if you have a dog who likes to lay against the side of the kennel, like one of mine does, and 2) the soft fabric is nice, but, hair clings to it. You can't just vacuum it off easily. You need a vacuum attachment with a brush, and to take everything out of the kennel and put it on the floor and anchor it with your feet while you go over it repeatedly. Machine washing them does not dislodge the hair. I have a Corgi and a mini Aussie and I have to vacuum them weekly at a minimum to keep there from being balls of hair on the bedding. I would prefer something more like a canvas that doesn't hold hair.I've been a Pet Dreams customer for many years. This is an excellent product. The mat comes with fleece on the underside, so you can switch from summer to winter if you desire. The mat washes up VERY nicely in cold water and dried on high heat in the dryer. I have washed my mat dozens of times and it's just like new. The bumper pad is awesome and very easy to attach with complete instructions. My dogs are Chihuahuas and I didn't want the bumper pad as tall as it is originally made, so I just doubled it up with the Velcro tabs showing and attached it that way. Now the dogs can see out and I can see in, and it gives the bumper pad more thickness. This is an awesome product. The owner of the company designed all the products and is very conscientious about making customers happy. I am not promoting this item because I have an interest in the company, but I have talked to the owner a few times on the phone. You'll love this item!Fit well, the bumper was a bit confusing to set up, took me a while. It didn't attach like the picture suggests, and there were no "instructions" so to speak on how to attach it. It seemed like it was way too big for the crate, but after fiddling with it I managed to get it on.I've had it a few weeks and even though my dog chews on it and pulls on it a lot, it's still in good condition.I have attached a photo to show how the bumper attaches. In the product image it suggests that the bumper does not wrap around the whole cage, and instead only wraps around the three sides, however you actually have to overlap a bit on the front for it to fit properly, and even then the pumper is still a tad loose.Relatively good. The bumper pad on the inside of the crate is too big for the crate, even though the size purchased was the right size for the crate, and sags at the sides and the back. My puppy can easily get a hold of it, tug on it and off it comes. It does the job though and can easily be washed.What does it matter what I say. My dog loves it! When she has had enough of us she retreats into her crate for some chill time. It was worth every penny!Creates a nice, den-like feel for a new pup or grown dog. Fits well and is well made. Would recommend.Really nice and plush, attaches easily. Outside brown is a different shade than the inside brown which is disappointing because it doesn't look as good as it could be. Dog loves it makes the inside very comfy dark and den-like.
