We installed this in our back room. There are two parts to the flap section. There is a thin portion that goes around the outside of the swinging part to fully seal it. It slides on two screws and keeps falling off. We glued it on and now the bottom has ripped in half. It allows flies to get in.I have two Siberian Huskies that use this doggie door.Within 2 weeks of installation, the magnetic rim of the door was ripped off because it separated from the door and one of my dogs got tangled in it and tore it off.Also, the part of the door that slides in so that the door is closed, is a very thin piece of plastic that with very little energy or strength can be popped out. The last door that I had, the door that slid down was metal, even though my dogs bent it a bit, it kept them on which ever side I needed them to be on.There should be a sturdiness ranking on this item.1. Some magnets don't work.2. the washers were not in the delivery boxIt would be great if I could get a replacement / re-deliverythank youAt first I like doggie door when it was first installed. However, after installing it in my dog's going in and out their paws kept getting stuck in the rubber frame that went around the inside and outside of the door. It didn't take long for the inside plastic rubber frame that went three pulled off by my dog's paws and I went ahead and took the outer frame off because I didn't want my dogs get stuck in it. So now I still have it installed and the dogs can go in and out however without the outer plastic rubber frame that goes around the actual flap flies and bugs and other things can come in and out too. Ugh!!!!Really expected better quality at this price point. The magnets aren't even strong enough to close the flap while its sitting in my calm living room. No way that's gonna keep winter winds out. It's getting returned.This is the worst doggie door we’ve ever had!!!! First day the flap came off and my dog was stuck in the door because his leg was caught!!!When the wind blows all the dirt and wind comes in the house!!We hate it!! But now we’re stuck because we can’t find another one to fit in the same cutout!!!! I really want my money back!!!!!!!Outer door flap don’t make it thru one day . Dog pulls them out from going back inside . Waste of money!
